The life of a missionary is not for the faint of heart. They leave their homes, families and everything just for one purpose, to share God’s message of hope and love with the world.
Missionaries need committed supporters back home. They need financial support, missionaries resources, medical and tech equipment. They long for our words of encouragement. Sometimes our physical presence matters but I want to tell you that what mission needs
most is prayers. Below are a few areas where missionaries most desire our prayers.

1. Strength and preservance Isaiah 40:31
2. Encouragement Psalm 112:6-7
3. Provision Phil 4:19
4. Protection and safety Psalm 121:8
5. Open hearts Jeremiah 24:7. Ask the Lord to make fertile ground to prepare the hearts of the people to receive the gospel.

Take time to pray for a missionary this week and always. Encourage your church to pray for missionaries. At our individual prayer altars let us pray for missionaries.
